Prosyntix is currently recruiting for a contract to hire opportunity with a client working remotely within the Denver, CO area as a Natural Adabas Developer. Overview: The company is a growing veteran owned business within a collaborative culture. They specialize in providing system engineering services to major DOD and Research & Development projects. The Natural Adabas Developer will utilize their expertise to help maintain existing applications and provide support to the company’s infrastructure. Responsibilities/Requirements:
Develop Natural/ADABAS, XML, JCL, Java, or JavaScript code. Natural One SAG designer and XML experience is a plus.
Apply knowledge of fourth generation programming languages.
Coordinate changes to Natural/ADABAS, XML, JCL, or Java Applications.
Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard applications using accepted industry practices and/ or organizational policies.
Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments as they relate to Natural/ADABAS, XML JCL, or Java/JavaScript
Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
Operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
Plan and lead major technology assignments.
Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
May lead or supervise others.
Additional Information: This position would need to be able to pass a NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries) background check, which entails law enforcement check, records search, credit check and written inquiries of previous/current employers, education, residence, and references.
