Prosyntix is recruiting for a Head of Marketing for a growing Ecommerce SaaS company.   This role would work with the international company to assist in continuing to develop the brand and grow revenue.  


Core responsibilities:

  • Lead marketing from the front, to transform from good to great through excellence in strategy, design, development, release and branding

  • Work towards building an industry leading brand taking ownership of product communication and positioning as well as overall business’ reputation and recognition

Daily responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and oversee execution of the marketing strategy that would support commercial team in their revenue and lead generation targets; as well as plans for customer / partner lead generation, acquisition and retention programs

  • Develop and execute successful demand generation programs and multi-channel strategies to drive sales qualified leads and build lead database through data-driven experiments, content marketing and account-based marketing strategies

  • Define marketing & communication strategies for new and existing products, developing clear, differentiated and compelling value propositions

  • Provide support in product launches including developing the necessary sales support materials, marketing content and launch plans, customer and partner documentation; and establish and track product success criteria post-launch

  • Create and implement effective sales and marketing tools, including management and development of sales collateral, presentations, client success stories and other sales tools to enhance sales team efforts / partner team efforts

  • Oversee content management strategies, digital and social media strategies, press releases, and lead PR activities

  • Oversee marketing team and mentor existing members/ optimize skill set to enable EMEA/ NA Marketing Leads to drive revenue regionally

  • Oversee marketing budget and build analytical data-driven marketing organization establishing the right KPIs for the marketing function and overseeing marketing ROI performance

  • Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, consumer behavior and competition identifying actionable insights acting as a resource for other departments by being the authority on market trends, product strengths/weaknesses, pricing and competitive landscape

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in marketing; and significant and recent experience in senior / team management role in B2B SaaS space

  • Experience working in retail SaaS technology

  • Experience marketing / selling to e-commerce retailers and strong understanding of the e-com business landscape

  • Proven success supporting sales organizations with well-structured marketing programs and pipeline-building activities that complement company sales goals and initiatives

  • Solid experience with inbound and outbound strategies execution; and ideally a proven track record of building well-functioning partner programs

  • Thorough understanding of and experience utilizing CRM (Hubspot preferred) and marketing automation programs to execute, track and manage marketing campaigns and other technology to support the requirements of the demand generation plan

  • Demonstrated evidence of abilities to understand technical aspects of the product

Added plus if:

  • Experience in growth-hacking and early-stage customer acquisition

  • Product marketing & tech experience

  • Proven ability to foster relationships with industry analysts and drive favorable research coverage
