Position Description

  1. ERP Architect will work on the IT Enterprise Architecture team and will be responsible for creating, consolidating, supporting, and transforming ERP Systems. The ERP Architect will be responsible for working with business owners and cloud-focused engineering teams to deliver and Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP (Unified Operating Applications, Finance and Operations) platforms for the evolving local and global business. The ERP Architect will be is responsible for the overall design, architecture, and development of ERP platforms. The ERP Architect will design and build D365 integration with other platforms utilizing Azure tools and Dataverse whenever possible. The ERP Architect will examine current ERP platforms and define migration plans to support transition from multiple legacy ERP systems to a consolidated, scalable, and modern ERP system on the D365 platform.

The role also requires the ability to make delivery decisions based on future impact, scope, and cost. A successful candidate should have excellent communication, time management, interpersonal skills, and ability to work in an agile / team environment.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic technical leadership for ERP platforms including legacy systems (SAP-B1, Navision, Enspire, and Sage) and modern systems (D365 F&O, Commerce, Supply Chain, and Warehouse Management)
  • Collaborate with D365 partners, IT leadership, and stakeholders to migrate existing Local and Global business units on legacy ERP systems to the D365 ERP platform
  • Execute the development of D365 integration to other business systems: Power BI, legacy ERP, and other related enterprise systems
  • Deliver tactical and strategic improvements on the D365 ERP platform
  • Co-define required D365 integrations and key data relationships and co-design and finalize integration architecture
  • Review the work of ERP and integration developers and provide feedback. Implement coding standards and best practices to ensure quality
  • Build integration between D365 and systems with the architecture team
  • Customize, integrate, maintain, and support commercial software packages associated with D365 Unified Operations Applications with the help from the D365 development and help desk teams
  • Use Dev Ops techniques to design, build, and support applications and process flows using tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform, and Lifecycle Services (LCS)

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Data Management, or Computer Science with 12+ years’ experience of ERP delivery experience; OR 15+ years of relevant IT/ ERP delivery experience
  • 5+ years delivering solutions on the ERP platform with a focus on Supply Chain, Commerce, and Finance
  • 2+ years of delivery experience in D365 Finance and Operations and DevOps
  • Experience developing software architectures and key software components
  • Working knowledge of Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Logic Apps, or equivalent tooling
